Overpriced for what you get. The view is beautiful but the hotel room is so tiny. The hotel front desk also gave us false information which ended up getting us majorly scammed by a taxi company. We felt extremely misled by this hotel. For the price I expect service to be much better. The pool also looks way better in pictures than in real life
The Hotel staff is fantastic and the service they provide is amazing. That being said, the rooms & the hotel are a little dated. Linens, towels, and amenities are not necessarily top of the line. The hotel should start by replacing all of these.
We felt our room was a little dated, worn and could have used a fresh coat of paint. The air conditioner provided sufficient air flow, but not enough to make the room on the cooler side.
We walked into our room and felt we had stepped back into time about 50 years ago. We were at the very top of the hotel, room level 600, so our classic room was extremely small. Very little room to get around, and a very small window to look out at the sea and the view. Everything in the room was dated, and granted pictures online described the room well, the pictures gave the room a cleaner feeling.
Otherwise, the location of the hotel is nice. It’s about a 30-35 min walk into town. They do provide a shuttle service. The pool was nice. A great view. A decent breakfast buffet every morning. It’s fine. But it’s by far; not a 4 star hotel. At most, I would consider this a 3 star hotel. As long as you are aware some of the rooms and dated, and some of the rooms are not, the property is fine.
Make sure to have dinner at the hotel, because it was the best dinner I had in all of Sorrento. Mario the manager is an absolute gem and one of the hardest working employees at the hotel.
This place has a luxury feel with staff who are so professional, friendly, and welcoming. The pool is fantastic and overlooks the ocean from a cliff. The restaurant for dinner is on the fine dining side, and well done. The sunsets and the view of the ocean are the best.
Lovely stay. Just left the hotel after 5 nights of a Minimoon. Gave us a celebratory Prosecco on arrival.
Views and location are incredible. Around 15-20 minute walk into town. Shuttle bus is around every hour, and was a great service. Great if they had some more shuttle buses through the day.
One criticism is that they didn’t ask if I was done with my drink at dinner! Otherwise perfect stay.
The hotel is a 30 minute walk to the square and the shuttles do not run hourly so it’s often a pain. A taxi is $20-25 every time you want to get to town even though it’s a 3-4 minute drive.
The room and sheets smelled stale and like mildew. The towels were also dingy looking. Under the bed was filthy.
Staff was friendly however they dropped an electronic facial massager which was placed back in its spot incorrectly and broken. When confronted they offered no solution and we’re careless.
Only positives are a decent view (not hard to find in Sorrento) and powerful shower head.
I would honestly never consider staying here again.
Don’t stay here. You can do wayyy better.
Far from the square. Terrible shuttle times so you have to take a 20-25€ taxi Everytime to go a 3 min drive to the square. (25 min hilly walk).
Linens smelled like mildew. I was very grossed out staying here. Also the bath mat/towels were so dingy looking. Regret staying here so much.
They broke my facial cleaning device (over $200) and were unapologetic about it. There are way better hotels to stay at. I wish I did better research as this was part of our destination wedding in Sorrento.
The rooms are a perfect size as well as a little old world charm. The staff is very accommodating and I thought the views were priceless. I would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful stay at this hotel, can't fault it at all. Comfortable, relaxing, great views, wonderful food and a very friendly and helpful staff. We would highly recommend.
